1855 with rops cab

There is a 73 model 1855 at auction near me on Saturday. It is listed as salvage. It has a White ROPS cab with built in fuel tanks. Radio, heat but no A/C. 310 turbo diesel with oil cooler, patched block and Hydraul Shift. Tires are poor and hydraulic pump missing along with one 3ph lift arm and the PTO output shaft. 3101 hours showing. Cab has all glass and both doors but needs a head liner, paint and TLC.
Any idea what this would be worth for parts or possible restore/repower? Thanks in advance.

I agree, I normally buy blown up tractors for repowers for $1000 to $1500 in better shape than that one sounds. That missing hydraulic pump is about $1,500 to replace and replumb depending on what all is missing, and you are looking at a new engine.

I'd say under 1,000. Dont sound like its in too good of shape anymore.

Yeah, no problem Myron. If a few salvage yards see the auction bill, the tractor might go over a grand, but who knows. Sounds like this one will be put to rest....oh so sad;)
