I just test drove a 1655 gas widefront. 2nd owner, 2600 orginal hours, used for hay and bushogging it's whole life according to the owner. fairly good orginal paint, tiny bit of rust, no dents Rear tires are 60% but good. Started up and ran like new. Other than that this tractor is flawless, needs nothing. Includes a good 6' pull type bushog and 6' blade. Owner is asking $7500. Is that price ballpark? It is a gasser.

Go for it!! Can't go wrong with these tractors and it'll live forever if you take care of it. We've got a 1650 that is same as you described, except it has over 7000 hours on it and nothing wrong because it's been maintained since it was bought brand new by my grandfather.

Well, that price seems high, but if this tractor is as nice as you make it sound, and you find it to be a great value to you, I'd do it. We have overpaid for our 1755, but we have no regrets. The highest I've seen a 16xx's tractor was a freshly overhauled 1650. That one was a one owner, extremely late model. It was also Diesel. Take into account everything on this tractor and do what you feel is best. They are a good tractor, so I'd recommend it.
