i was wondering if aftermarket sheetmetal (side panels) hurt the value of a oliver? they seem better than nothing...
should the tractor be worth less than a all original one?

I don,t think it hurts at all unless you happen to be wanting an all original tractor of which real clean ones are hard to find . I have been looking for an original rad cap cover for my super 77 as its too good of shape to repaint. I have seen some poor reproduction stuff that would make you say bad words fitting it but you get what you pay for!!!

depends on who is buying it. If it is a hard core collector buying it for investment, collecting purposes, then it might reduce the amount the collector might want to pay for it, if some of the parts are not original. The collectors look for the NOS (New Old Stock) parts that were built at the time of the original tractor but just stayed in stock all that time so never wore out, or they look for parts parted out from original tractors and are still in good shape.. But someone using it for a tractor, then it wouldnt hurt the value having reproduction sheet metal, might make it worth more having repro sheet metal versus none at all, or a really beat up one. hope this helps, just my two cents

There is a set adverstied on page 2 of the classified's for a 100.00, for a 66 or 77.
