Moline Engines in Onan Generators?

Happy Independence Day! I wound up working on a generator in Fridley today, but the weather was such that I didn't mind! On my way home, I passed the Cummins/Onan Generator factory, and a thought crossed my mind: did Minneapolis-Moline ever sell engines to Onan for use in generator sets? I work for Cummins as a generator/diesel mechanic, and as yet have not seen one. Since both companies were located in Minneapolis, it appears to me that it would have been a good arrangement for both parties. All of our diesel-powered generators today use Cummins engines, but the older ones (prior to 1991) used many other brands. A lot of our older, 75-150KW gensets use Alllis-Chalmers diesels. Does anyone out there have any information about a possible Moline/Onan cooperative effort from years gone by?

Just a note to Hercules enthusiasts!
A lot of the older Kohler, diesel-powered gensets use the 478 Hercules engine. Some of these are equipped with a FACTORY aftercooler. This might be a nice option to bolt onto that 2150/2-135/2-155 that needs a little more zip!
