Oliver 1265 lift trouble

I recently replaced the o-rings and gasket on my auxilary hydraulic unit. Of course, this is attached to the hydraulic lift control valve housing. I also drained and refilled the hydraulic oil. The auxilary hydraulic unit (remot e controls) is working fine. Now, the hydraulic lift (3 point hitch arms) do not work at all. They will not raise up any.
I did not do anything to the 3-point hitch mechanism. My operators manual showed that when I drained the hydraulic oil to remove two plugs under the bottom. One is under the transmission, the other under the 3point hitch mechanism. The manual stated that there is only one reservoir that holds oil for both the transmission and hydraulic lift. There is only one fill plug on top of the transmission.
Any help would be appreciated.
