Hi, Ron! If you lost both the PTO and the hydraulics, then you probably stripped the forward splines off of the live power shaft, or the center may have stripped out of the pto drive hub in the flywheel. With the tractor SHUT OFF and the PTO in gear, see if you can turn the PTO shaft with a wrench or bar. If it rotates, and the engine does not, then this is the problem. The engine will have to be pulled to fix it, unless it is merely the PTO long shaft splines. You will probably need a new longshaft. Been there before with my 1950-T!

You can pull the long PTO shaft out and see what the splines on the end look like. If the splines on the shaft are really worn out almost smooth then most of the damage was done to the shaft. You can get a new shaft and put it in and run the tractor through hay making season if you dont get too hard on it, but you will have to pull the engine and replace the hub in the flywheel that matches up with it. I have done this before to get me through crop season before, just dont let it go too long or you will ruin the new shaft, and they are about $250 for the shaft.

I pulled the shaft and the teeth are worn but they still there. We are planning to pull the engine, is the pto hub pressed into the pressure plate of bolted in also parts are a big question any suggestion sure would be appreciated.
