I have a '72 1855 I tore it down this winter and had to drain down the hydraulics. now my three point wants to creep up all the time. i was using it on a rotary hoe it still kept lifting as the lever vibrated back.is there just air in the system? and what is the best way to purge it? also, i have the small circulation pump that pumps hyd oil to the cooler. the threads that hold the pulley on sheared off and the pulley is still m.i.a.where is a good place to get these parts?

My 1855 Cummins had the same creeping up of the the 3 point hitch. Found that the draft control linkage was broke on the left side of the tractor just below the seat. Did you possibly forget to hook something up regarding the draft control linkage?? Without the pressure from this linkage, the 3 pt system doesn't have a spot to return to if the load changes.

I know of an excellent place to get parts. Call Maibach Tractor at 1-800-808-9934. They have new and used parts.
