I just bought an original owners manual for an Oliver"60" tractor. It is still in the original envelope which it was mailed in. The return dealer address was 13 Verona Street Rochester , New York. Well , I had to go into Rochester today. While I was in there , I just had to try to find 13 Verona Street. No such luck. Starting at Jay Street , the numbers were very high. By the time I had gotten down to the 200's , the whole area was KODAK and KODAK parking. I did see one old brick building on the corner that looked like maybe it was an old dealer of some kind , from back in the early 1950's. Maybe all the numbers had been changed on the street. My question is: Does anyone remember where the Oliver dealer use to be on verona Street , in Rochester , New York? Do you have any pictures , or any history at all? That would just make my day to here anything from anyone about the Oliver dealer that use to be at 13 Verona Street.

You were in the right neighborhood. I remember a brick building in that area with "Oliver Chilled Plows" painted on it. I think it was torn down when the baseball stadium was built.

I live approx: 45 miles from Rochester. But I have worked all over Rochester and srrounding areas for years. If I had only known of that building through out the years , I would have done some reserch on it. I would have even taken some pictures.

Scott, see if there are any museum's or historical associations in Rochester. They may have photographs, calendars & whatnot from the old dealership. They can probably put you in touch with one of their members that can give you any info on it's location, etc. It sort of sounds like the old location may have been assimilated by Kodak.

Thanks Scott , I never thought that far ahead yet. But your right. I'll check with a Rochester museum/s. If the numbers are the same as they were years ago , then it does look like KODAK swallowed the property up.
