My grangfather bought, what he was told was a 1919 Cletrac crawler, about 5 years ago to restore. I'm trying to get any/all info. I can to help restore it as close to original as possible.

The engine plate has on it that the engine was manufactured by The Cleveland Tractor Co., "Model W, Serial #12513".

I've contacted and sent pics. to Blake at Cletrac.org and he said that it looks like a W, but being that it has steering "levers" instead of a steering "wheel", he wasn't sure what to tell me.

If anyone can tell me anything, or help me in any way, or would like me to send pics. of the Cletrac crawler, please let me know. My grandfather and I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank-you,
Brian from Angelica, NY, USA

Send your questions to Landis Zimmerman at Zimmerman Oliver-Cletrac. His e-mail is [email protected]. Don't send any pictures, just text. He should be able to answer your questions.
