Help ID Oliver Backhoe

I have located an old Oliver backhoe, at least that is what I was told it was, but I can not find a name plate. Where would it be located? It is a six cylinder diesel and has been apart for several years. The head and injectors and pump all rebuilt but never installed. Of course the pistons got water in them and are now rusted in. If I can ID this thing, what are my chances of getting the parts I need to finish the rebuild?

The motor parts are all available as it is the same as a tractor motor

Most (if not all) of the Oliver backhoes were based on ag/industrial tractor platforms so engine/powertrain parts are widely available. I don't have much experience with Ollie backhoes, but I'd start looking for a serial tag on the operators platform, just below the front console ahead of where your feet are located when faced forward on the tractor. The serial tag may be on the 'kickpanel' as it may be called. It seems that many Oliver backhoes were sold based on 1600/1650/1655 platforms, and that is the location of the serial tag on those tractors in ag/industrial models. A place to start if nothing else. If not there, then check on right hand side of transmission housing, just in front and above right brake drum housing. Good luck!
