Next week a pretty decent 1365 is up for sale. We're looking for a little loader tractor. I'm aware the 1450 type Fiats are hard to get parts for, but does anybody have any experience with the 1365? Was it a good loader unit? This one has the 4WD option.

We've been looking for a 550 w/loader, but they seem to be scarce items.

Excellent loader tractor. Very popular here in Ontario. Don't be afraid of it--no comparisan to the 1450--and DON'T buy a Ford 8 or 9N in it's place!!!

We bought one new in 1975. It had sat on the dealers lot for a year or so, but there were quite a few of the Fiat/Olivers sold around here. Oliver had a deal when we got ours that they threw in a free loader with the purchase of the tractor. I believe it was a model 1514 loader and it wasn't enough loader for the tractor. What do you expect for free?? After 5 years we put on a White 1730QA loader. That held up very well.

The front steering wasn't the greatest, but was an improvement over the 77 with loader the tractor replaced. It's kind of a goofy set up up front for the steering and you apply slight pressure to the steering wheel and let it turn at it's own pace.

Overall a decent tractor that had the @@$%%^ run out of it. Traded it off on another Fiat, a 70-66 Hesston. Another good little tractor.

Ford 8n or 9n!!! Not on this farm. The following have contributed to the cause over the years: Super 55, 770(2), 1650, 1750, 1755- White 105(2), 135, 170 and 100. The last two being currently responsible for planting and harvesting 560 acres.

Sorry, but it needs to be a certain shade of green. Like I said, we'd prefer the 550, but if the price was right on this one.... So far no one has commented on parts. We looked at a 1450 and shied away because supposedly it's an orphan, but I'd heard the 65 series weren't so bad.

Thanks

Tom, I have a very nice 1969 550 gas with PS and 2000 hours on it that I would be interested in trading for the 1365. Let me know if that is of interest to you. Thanks
