We recently purchased an Oliver 88. We are restoring it and on the side curtain is Oliver 88 Goodison. We can not find any information on the Goodison part. Why it is on there. It must be significant. It is faded and we are having a free hand letter person, repaint the side curtains, but we are not sure if the Goodison should be painted in yellow or not. Any information about this tractor would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you are in Canada there is no problem finding a Goodson decal.

Out of curiosity what colour is the Goodson?

My father inlaw has a 77 and it had a Goodson decal but it faded right away. I posed the colour question here and a fellow said they should be Yellow. Unfortunately the decal my father inlaw purchased was white.

Just thought you could confirm the Yellow answer.

All of the original Canadian tractors that I have seen with the Goodison decals are in a yellow or creamy yellow color. I have never seen an original with white Goodison decals.

Weren't some of the Goodison decals on the Hart-Parr's white or were they just light yellow?

Goodison was a company that sold Oliver's in Canada. They put their decals on a lot of the time. If you want it restored correctly, I would for sure get new Goodison decals. I bet someone would have a decal that restores Canadian Olivers.
