1650 hydraulic filter housing

What is the secret to removing the filter housing on the platform in front of the seat? I suppose changing it more frequently than never would help. We haven't gotten too bold with it yet, I wanted to make sure it didn't have left hand threads or something else obvious I might be missing. Thanks for any advice you can give.

I bent a half inch breaker bar (a cheap one) taking mine off when I bought it. threads were normal, I had a friend tap the housing with a hammer while I stood on the platform and did a squat type grunt lift on it when I got a new breaker bar.

Great news, it worked. We broke a breaker bar too, so that must be the correct procedure. Now if only the NAPA store had given us the right filter...
