Cockshutt Golden Eagles really that rare?

Some days ago a posting appeared about the Cockshutt Golden Eagle. One of the replies stated that an estimated 135 of these were sold from 55-58 as it was a model only sold through US dealers, is that right? The reason I ask and that I am interested is that I know a guy who has one that is very restorable and would make a beautiful restoration. And if they are indeed this rare, I think he deserves to know exactly what he's got. Any of you Cockshutt guys shed some more light on this? Would sure appreciate any info.

They are rare if you live in Canada. These tractors were only shipped to the US.

Sorry if my reply on the other post caused confusion. I was mentioning the Golden Arrow, of which only 135 were made. Golden Eagle is not rare- probably several thousand of them.

OK. Any idea about how many Golden Eagles were made? Sure don't see many of them in this area.
