Any Info. on a 1958 540 Cockshutt??

I own a 1958 540 Cockshutt (the 58th one made according to the serial number on it AM1058),I was wondering if anyone knew how many of these were made,how much horse power (4 cyl.), what they are worth and if they are rare?
I have been to a few shows and there wanting to see more Cockshutts at them but they never do get any.
I've searched the web and have only seen one before.
And any other info. anyone knows about this tractor.
I've seen books that say the 540 was made in 1958,59 and 61.
And other books that say 1958,59,60 and 61.
The old tractor works for me every year plowing the garden,feeding hay roles and cleaning snow from the driveway,it purrs like a kitten.
Also some one told me that it didn't come out with a 3 point hitch ,but it all looks like factory to me.

If you love the original Cockshutts you must be from Canada! Highly recommend you get the book "Cockshutt The Complete Story". According to the book there were no 540's made in 1960 due to excess inventory. There were 2500 built. They were built from '58 -'62 but no '60's. The 540 is rated as a 2-3 plow tractor. It was rated by Cockshutt as 26 drawbar and 31 belt horsepower. The 540 was the only tractor offered by Cockshutt @ this time with live PTO, Hydraulics, and a 3-point hitch as standard. A freind of mine has a '59 with an original cockshutt 658 loader on it!Hope this helps-Tim
