12,116 total; with 8074 being '68 models and 4042 being '69 models. All I want is one.

VT, that's Vermont right? That's quite a drive from northern Iowa but I do know where Minnesota is and I'm not opposed to yanking that Cummins out of there and rebuilding an Over/Under. J. Meyer, where is this 2150 of which you speak?

The tractor is on a dairy farm by West Concord, Minnesota. I have the owners kid in my ag diesel class. I dont think its for sale, but who knows. Write my personal email if you wanna discuss this anymore, thanks, j meyer

The 2150's were kinda rare to start with, they were only built in 1968 and 1969. I have not seen one with a Cummins but I would think it would be pretty easy to put one in. I like the big 478 Hurk in mine, except it gets hot in a hurry. If it ever lets go I may consider a 5.9L or an 8.3L Cummins to go back in it. Would make a horse of a tractor. Was the tractor you saw for sale. Just wondering what a 2150 Cummins would go for.

Hey Shep. I know of a 2150 up here in Minnesota with the 5.9 in it. The owners have abused it bad. Over/Under out, pto shot, and other things. Just letting you know there's one around. I dont know if i wanna see this one though, it'll make me cry seeing an Oliver is such shape!

That is too bad, I hate when people have abused equipment, cause I am generally the one fixing it. For the right price you can probably get it fixed up again, and that tractor would be worth it. It would take a while to drive her back to Virginia for me though :-). Better let WFE check it out.....

Definitely a repowered tractor as all the 2150s had the turbocharged 478 Hercules. The Cummins does make a nice repower option, but to keep it original, it should have the 478 in it and these are fairly easy to find. The 2150s are rare enough that I would think most Oliver men would want it as it was equipped new. The 478 engine was widely used in military trucks; in fact, there's a place in Ohio, I believe, that is selling new, barely used, 478 engines from retired military trucks to go into 2-135/155 Whites and for irrigation engines and the like. If anyone is interested, I can give you the address; I have it here somewhere...

There were 8084 model 2050s made for the '68 model year and only 1373 made in '69 for a total of 9457 total units. The serial number range is as follows:

204444-212527..... ..... 1968
212560-213932..... ..... 1969

Still rare enough.

This may sound very amateur, but I didn't even know these tractors were made! I'm a Cockshutt/Oliver/White guy, but where I'm at there isn't a whole lot of them. I was wondering if it's possible for someone to post a picture or e-mail me one or something?? I'm picturing a green slightly modified version of my 2-155. Is this any where's close?? Thanks!!
