I was searching for my dogs in the woods behind my property and found an old tractor.The hood was off and hanging to the side.the radiator was gone but everything else appeared to be there.It had
COOP/// on each side of the hood.It looks smaller
than the Cockshutt 30.I plan to return and take some pictures.Any ideas about it? Is it easy to get parts for etc....I may try to get it...indy

the serial number is stamped in the top of the frame on the left side of engine. it is the Cockshutt number. if it is a E2 it will start 20, E3 would start with 30 etc. what ever it is it's worth getting. Bill

It has a Budda Engine....I found the #'s 4B153 11459 on the budda plate.Took som pictures will try to upload them soon..... indy

If it has a 153 Buda 99% sure its a E3 CO-OP. I have heard that Cockshutt did experiment with the 153 Buda in the E-2 but have never seen one. Grab it up anyway.

If its a E3 it is the same as the 30. lots of these made and he easiest to get parts for. If its smaller it would be an E2 or a model 20. Harder to get parts for but not bad. I wouln't hesitate to get it!!!! Email me if you have more questions.-Tim

Some where on this site is a picture of a coop however its easier to search googl. A nice picture can be found as" 1951 E4 coop tractor" Probably made by Cockshutt.

well they have no traceable numbers, so if you get it in your posession its yours. would be nice to ask though. may have to cut a lot of tress, thing may have been in there 30 yrs.
