Been thinking some time of some way to make a drawbar for my 550. Especially now that I have some pull type implements and I just love my 11 hole drawbar (NOT!). Unfortunately I have not seen many examples around to copy. Found this pic and it looks functional and if right materials used I am sure adequate.

Tell me is this a kit avail or home-made?

I do have the complete drawbar and bracket. It is all new old stock parts. I paid quite a bit for it but if interested let me know. Gary

Thats not either of the two oliver drawbars for a 550.The first one looks like a super 66 swinging drawbar.The second one takes advantage of the new ford type bosses that where added to the casting of the rear end.I bought one like in the picture for 5$ at the last auction.

Shep, Check and see if the drawbar from an oliver 60 would work. Seems to me (if I remember correctly) that the drawbars were the same. You have to alter the toplink arms a bit.

Shoot, just buy the whole tractor and then you would have the drawbar and you could copy it for your other 550. Heck, thats what I do with these Olivers.....

Hey Im headed to Minneapolis in a few weeks ShepFL, you need anything from up there??? Tractor parts or anything?? Thought maybe I would look around for Molines while Im up there.
