Dave, check the front crankshaft pulley for slop in the rivets. That will make it rattle. Jeff.

I bought rings and bearings from a place in Moline Mi.I will get there Phone # on Monday. I had the noise in the engine before I rebuilt it . I would think the valves would be ok. Not shure about the Cam.I did check all the rods but not the mains. I guess I'll just pull the eng and do it all .Then I'll know.I'll get back to you Monday night. Thanks,Dave

Did you check or do anything with the crankshaft? Did you double check your valve lash adjustment.

Where did you purchase your engine parts? I haven't checked; are any available thru Agco? I have a "47" 60rc that's locked up. The top and bottom of the cylinders look good but the rings are rusted to the cylinder walls. I will be needing engine parts soon.
