Oliver plow parts

I have a 2 bottom Oliver plow. I have been told its older than the "rooster comb" plows. I need a few parts for it and am wondering where I might find parts. i need plow shares and rolling cutters for sure. thanks in advance.

Have you tried Balster's Implement? I've had luck with them when fixing up some of my old equipment. They seem to have about everything I ask for. I have there number somewhere here... 319-465-4141. Ask for Les - he's the expert.

You can buy plow shares that will fit the 419 and 619 raydex bottoms, but I have a feeling you have the kind that has the big share and no shin on the bottom. I don't know of a place that sells those new. I have seen a few around on sales that are new old stock. The problem may be the share bolts. I took apart the bottoms on a #414 oliver plow and couldn't find the bolts to put them back together. The older plows might have a different style of bolt....I don't really know I've never had one with the big share apart. As far as coulters you can buy some i think from your local farm store, but I don't know if they will work or not. The centers of the coulters should be ok as far as the bolt pattern but the blade might be too big to fit inbetween the fork. I wish I could do more to help...good luck.

Hey, I have a Oliver rope trip I am parting. Some fool picked it up with a 4 in 1 bucket on a loader and broke one wheel off. I am not sure what you have, but I can send some #s and pictures. Jonathan

You sure got the fool part right. I had someone do the same thing to a plow that was on some land my grandpa bought. Picked up by the tail wheel. At least the cast bracket and the actual wheel wasn't hurt in my case. It just goes to show how some people value an antique.
