I have a Oliver 1855 (Late 1974-Early 1975 Model) with a Newly Rebuilt Engine (Less than 25 hours) and all the updates. It has a Factory ROPS Cab,.... Wide Front,... Diesel Engine,... Over/Under,... 2 speed PTO,.. 3 PT Hitch,.. 12 ft Snow Plow,... and all the extras. Excellant condition. 4400 hrs total. It has the White 2-105 rear axles,.. and Dual Bolt-On wheels,... Extra hubs, and everything you could want. Only thing it doesn't have is the Air Conditioning. I was at a dealer and they say it is worth between $10,000 and $11,000 retail,.. due to the Excellant condition, and all the engine updates and newly rebuilt engine. Anyway, I posted it for $10,500 and had 3 fellas come down and look it over,... Kick the tires, and drive it around. One didn't want to make an offer (Said it was too big),.. the other two did,... One offered $1,500 (Get Real) and the third offered $7,000,... (More reasonable) Heck,.. I have over $5000.00 in the engine rebuild.... Tonight I had a fella call and ask about it, and I told him that if he wasn't willing to go to the $10,500,.. Not to bother wasting my time,.. He still sounded interested,.. and will come this week to look see. I have seen these go at auction with over 10,000 hours and very tired for over $5000.00 to $7000 in rough condition,.. Is the asking price too much???? I am selling as I have a chance to get a 2255 Oliver with cab, and I have a rebuilt engine to bolt in it already. Book value is $9000.00 with mid time engine and no extras like Cab or Snowplow, Duals, or Chains. To sum it all up,.. this is Like Factory New,... All kinds of extras,.. None better around.
