Can someone tell me about the update engine kit? How would you know if your engine already had. Did all 1655's require the kit?

No offense, but I believe that you have been misinformed about some sort of update "kit" for the 1655 tractor. I have read some other posts here about this so-called kit that was needed for the Olivers. As far as I know there is no such "kit". Maybe the other poster will explain. The updated parts I know of are for the 310 diesel engine and include one piece wrist pin bushings and the addition of an oil cooler. I hope this sets things straight for you and eases your mind about any possible problems that may occur with your tractor. WB.

I would agree with Wrenchbender. The only other thing I can think of is the later style rod bolts.
