I'm looking at an Oliver tractor I'm not at all familiar with Oliver tractors other than that fact they do excist. The one that I am looking at I'm sure is a very old tractor, it does not have and never did have from the best that I can tell a 3 point hookup. It is a tricycle type tractor and has a very good (or sweet) sounding 6 cylinder engine, When you are sitting on the tractor directly under the steering wheel are 2 levers that i think are hydraulic controls because on each side of the box these levers sit on are what looks hydraulics that have been disconnected, to the right of that is the gear shift the gear pattern lable is fairly warn but if looks like it has at 6 gears and 2 reverses. The only nombers that I could find on the tractor are on engine block above the starter (which has a push button start built into the starter)I didn't have anything that I could write the # on but if I remember correct the # is (106370H) I know for sure the first four are correct and I feel pretty sure about the that I am correct on 70H but I'm not 100%. Please Help Me Thanks

hi, what your are looking at is either an 77 or an 88. the best way to tell is the letter at the front of the number casted on the block.if it starts with a "M"its a 77. if it starts with a "K" its a 88. you can also look at the transmission cover[where your feet rest]. there will either be no hump,or flat,[66]a little bit of a hump [77], or a big hump[88]. the hump is to allow for the ring gear. now, the serial # tag will either be on the right side of the cast rear end housingjust in front of the right brake band cover,and just under the right brake pedal. or the tag will be on the left side of the console down towards the bottom. just above where the console meets the trans. cover.also, if the tag is still on the ractor, it will say "row crop 77" or "row crop 88" on the tag just above the serial number. now, totell if its a super or not look at the frame along each side. it will have two holes one just behind the front end, and one just below the clutch housing. if its a super it will also have along the frame two sets of 4 or 6 holes drilled and tapped .one set towards the frony and one set to the rear. i hope this helps.
