Did Oliver build horse drawn Sod Plows?

I am curious did Oliver build horse drawn sod plows years ago I have an old sod plow very old with a steel beam and all steel cutting parts. It has round steel rails that guide the sod off to the side. It seems to be complete. There appears to be a slight hint of green paint on the toung area. Could this be an Oliver? It has a number stamped in a steel bracket around where the wooden handles bolt on. Could someone help me identify this plow and tell how rare and valuble it is. Thanks.

Yes Oliver did build sod plows. In the literature they were called "Slat" bottom plows.
All of them that I have seen have flat slats, not round. A lot of the Oliver Walking plows had wood beams, however, Oliver built steel beam plows as well. Oliver was very proud of his plows and labeled all the parts with either "Oliver" or used the Chilled Plow symbol. Does your plow have these symbols?, if it does, it's an Oliver.

No I do not beleive there is Oliver or Chilled plow on it anywhere. what is the best way to identify this plows manufacturer? Thanks for the help.
