I saw in one of my farm magizines that AGCO bought the new and future Challenger MT lines including a new MT800 series. I also heard on The Agritalk radio program that Case IH have split and that the new IH tractors will be made in England. They will be available later this spring and will be introduced at the Louisville Ag show. It sure would be nice if someone introduced the Oliver line again Delbert.

The cat dealers are suppose to sell the challenger and selected agco dealers will get to sell them also. I don't know what agco versions will be called. Also the cat dealers are suppose to get to sell a complete line of agco equipment under the challenger name. The wheel tractors and combines will be made by Agco but have a cat engine instead of a cummins. They are suppose to have a conventional and rotor combine for them. I don't know what this does to the present cat combine.

I wholeheartedly disagree with your assertion that "Americans take care of Americans first". If that's the case, why are there thousands of homeless "Americans" sleeping in the streets of D.C. on these cold wintry nights (with no assistance from the government by way of shelters, etc), while we're getting ready to "give" Afghanistan billions of $$$ after just reducing their country (rightfully so) to rubble!!

cat will continue to manufacturer their combine, but agco will make the gleaner still. the challenger will carry challenger as the name, not agco or cat. it will have the option of being cat yellow or agco orange, possibly silver too
