My 1650 has 5.00 wide 16" rims with 6.0 x 16 tires. Even with 60 psi, the tires squat way too much with my loader, plus they dig into soft ground way too easy, even with an empty loader.
I was thinking about 9.50L x 15" tires mounted on some 8" x 15" rims. I was told by AGCO that they "may" fit. 11.00L x 16" were way too tall.

Does anyone know if they fit, or have suggestions to a good tire and rim size? I'm running in sandy loam soil.

I had the same problem on my AC D19,I got a set
of 7.50X20s off of a John Deere combine and reversed them have worked great for about 5 years.

Re: 1650 Spindles Posted by Don on 11/21/2001 at 21:05:48 IP: 205.188.199.37 My 1755 has a loader on it, and it broke the front left axel pin, which in return broke the spindle. first time it happened the tire got caught inside a furrow while plowing and going around a tree. second time the pin snapped while transporting a large square bale. both times it was just welded back on the shaft. finally it broke the third time while pushing heavy hay/manure away from a bunk wagon and ended up going to the bone yard and getting a spindle from an 1855. I'm not sure if the spindles were the same on those 2 tractors, but apparently, it has an 1855 front if they aren't the same length. It has 11.Lx15's, but I dont think that they were the factory size, atleast not according to some sources I have read. I run 11L-15's on my 1655. They are mounted on 9 inch rims. I have never had a problem with them and seems like this is a good size- not too big or too small. I believe 9.5L-15's would also be a good size tire for a 1650 or a 1655.

If you go for the wide, offset dish option, check your wheel bearings are in good order as the loading on them will be increased considerably, and other steering parts as well.

HI, you can order your rims with the dish all to one side, and the rim as wide as you desire. check with your industrial tire and wheel people. Ken

It depends on the kind of wide front you have. If you got the newer style, you can get the 11.0x16L's on her. If its the old style, i think the factory is max

It's a 65' model, they sure didn't leave much room between the spindle and the rim. I assume that I would have to dish them out in order to get them to fit.

it sounds like you got the old style wide front. On our 1650 we got the newer style, so we can get the bigger tires on there
