Oliver Super 99 Head Bolt Torque

I am restoring a Super 99 that had major engine problems,the 6cyl Waukesha was out of time(45degrees) injector pump leaking diesel in block,head leaking antifreeze in cyl. compression and unburned fuel in radiator.Had crank turned .20 ,head had .11 taken off. Should head bolts be retorqed with engine hot? I personly don't retorque with the newer gasket materials unless it specifies to do so.Any commets welcome.Thanks Dave

You might want to visit with a Waukesha dealer and get there opinion. I was of the opinion that aluminum head gasket got retorqued. After a aluminum head got heated up and crawled around the each head bolt needed almost a half turn to still be tight. Thats my two cents. You could try it but I don't think they need any. I hope it sealed up for you. Looks like a less than able mechanic was working on that thing for sometime.
