You mean you have an Oliver 2155 With the 585 Minneapolis Moline Engine. It is a rare tractor according to my one book I have. It says that only about 210 of them were made wit the oliver logo. My family has one also but it is not in original condition either. We currently use it for pulling and is turbocharged with about 350-400 Hp. It is stripped down without any 3PT or hydraulics and weighs about 9700Lbs. One weakness of the engine are only 4 main bearings and the oil pump gears. They wear out at about 500-1000 hours and you hace to replace the hole cam and oil pump gear. E-mail me at [email protected] for any specs you might need. This tractor is the same thing as MM G-1350. Does your 2155 have the cast iron grill or the fiberglass one like most of the M-M's? Mine is original & has the cast iron grill that looks like the other 55 series Olivers. Are you competive with it pulling? What class? Where?

RESTORE IT TO ORIGINAL CONDITION AND SHOW IT.

I live in Central Pa. and it has been very competitve in the pace classes. It is my step fathers tractor. Back in the early 80s it (Wildfire) was state champion. Today it is some what competitive in the no pace classes. We pull anywhere from 10,000 to 18,000 with the tractor and at some point over the years it has probably won each class more than once. It has been a fairly reliable tractor. The major down fall is haveing to replace the head gaskets about once every two seasons. It is bored out over .060 over at about 630 cubes. We just have a small 2.5 inch inlet and outlet turbo on it that pushes aobut 25 to 30 lbs boost. The fuel pump pushes out about 350cc's of fuel. Every time in the pace classes it is a tractor to be beet. It's probably safe to say it has had well over 100 wins in its last 20 years if not closer to 150. It was funny the one pull last year. The two cylinders in the front block were cracked and was pushing water out of the radiator. It was only working right on 4 cylinders. It had just enough power to get a full pull. RIhgt after that an I.H. 1066 running about 4,000 rpms didn't make out the gate and it running strong. When the 2155 (WILDFIRE) is running right it has about 4 inches of fire coming out of the 6 inch exhaust. Mine has a fibreglass nose where the hyd. oil tank was housed. The grill itself is just a wire mesh. When this tractor is running right. In central Pa it is not uncommon to have anywhere from 20-30 tractors in the heavier classes. At three of our fairs there were just about 50 tractors in the 5500 lbs classes and about 30 in the 15,000lbs classes. We love to pull in central Pa. The 2155 doesn't look pretty but it loves to pull with a lot of heart.
