Cam for 88

I have a 88 gas which I recently rebuilt the engine. It has super 88 sleeves and pistons and a super 88 head. Everything else is stock. I plan on pulling in a stock class. Is it better to have my cam reground or use one from a later model oliver? What oliver cam will fit? How does this effect the RPM on a stock puller as I can not go over the stock RPM by much? I am not planning on changing the carb or manifolds. Any help is appreciated.

Get a Gingrich cam if possible. They offer great low end power and torque when degree'd in properly. I think a machine shop in Harrisburg, Pa. named Feesers has a grind for this cam and should only cost about $100 to get your cam reground to this grind.

I mispelled it wrong. I is Feeser's with two e's. I don't know much about them, but a fellow puller told me about them. He gets all of his machine work done there. I want to get another cam ground also. I might have to make a few phone calls if this is not the correct spelling.
