Well kinda any way. I am still having hydraulic problems with it but I winched it up on the trailer and took it to the Agco dealer to finish it up this morning and they will put my loader on it. Well at least it runs, and it will be working soon. I posted more pictures this morning if you all want to check them out. Enjoy....

Shep - Glad you got done with the conversion in time for Christmas. Santa told me he was sure you would. I see now you have it loaded and ready to come FL for the winter (snowbird). Once you deliver it make sure Mrs. ShepFL puts a big ribbon on it. I promise I will act very surprised Christmas a.m. LOL!!!

Looks great man! I am still looking for a big 'un but you are slowing converting me to consider the 1850 vs. 1950. Should I go back to Austin this spring I may ask for some of your expertise as I know where 3 are sitting right now. Keep up the great work and Happy Holidays!!

You must REALLY believe in Santa Clause!!!! I guess I could have a bout of insanity and get you an Oliver for christmas, but it would probably be a 1/16 scale :-)

Anytime you are ready for an 1850 I know where there are 3 for sale, one gas, one perkins diesel and one with a cummins diesel, sorry not a Shep Cummins Conversion though. I think all of them are in real good shape and are a little pricy but just keep your eyes in the weeds and you will find a fixer upper.

That's a great looking tractor, but I might hurt myself with one that big! I also like the blue sky, I haven't seen that around Vancouver for a while.

Yeah, I will really make you sick, that picture was taken last Thrusday morning about 8am and I was wearing a T-shirt it was about 65 or so. Beatiful fall morning, I have a feeling it will not last.....

Is that the 5.9 cummins? If so, how'd you get the exhaust out the left side. Our 1755 with cummins 5.9 is out the right side. Also, i dont think they had certified stickers on the 55 series, or did they??? those 5.9's scream, so watch out!

Yup that is the 5.9 Cummins in that Tractor. You are correct that the exhaust is out the right side and in fact if you look at the pictures of the 1850 I did, the exhaust runs outside of the hood on the right side. But I am putting a loader on this one so it had to come out the hood, but the turbo crouded the side panels too much so I could not get the exhaust turned enough to come out on the right, so I put a short piece of 3 1/2" flex pipe and ran it across the back of the engine and mounted an elbow to the side of the engine and sent it out the old air breather hole in the hood. Took a little figering but it worked pretty slick.

Im not sure about the certified sticker, maybe someone else can tell us on that one. It was in the decal kit that I got for the tractor so I put it on. It also didnt come with the Cummins Power plate on the front, but I just liked that one :-)

I am already seeing that that engine is noisy in that cab. I will have to do some tillage work with it and see if it is too loud or not. I would hate to put the muffler back on :-(

That 1855 looks better every time you post new pictures of it. Wish I had one so I could try that, but I like to restore the older and smaller ones.

Yeah, its starting to all come togeather now. I will be glad to have it home with the loader so I can feed the cows with heat. It will be a great Christmas present here in a week or two when it comes back (I hope). Thanks for the comments Geoff.

How about a great tractor tour! Head out to florida ,motor over to california for the oliver winter convention ,up the coast to see Vancouver ,across the praires to ontario [be sure to drop in !] and home for seeding ! You could leave the loader at home,shouldn,t take more than two maybe three [months] better feed two extra bales before you go ! I,d put your new tires on before the field work! You would get your name in all the farm papers too! LOL
