We are trying to locate a used ring and pinion gear in good condition for an 1850. Can anyone supply a good source for used Oliver parts?

Try Maibach Tractor at 1-800-808-9934. They have a lot of used parts for 1850's, as well as other Olivers. They are located in Ohio.

where are you located? there is one yard here in Wisconsin devoted to the Olivers that should have your part. I remember seeing the ad in the WI State Farmer. I also located what I believe to be the back half of an 1850 and will be taking some gears out. I can see if what you want is still there.
