I spoke to a friend to see if he had any tillage work to do so I can run the new engine some before winter, he has a 3 shank subsoiler he has been pulling with a 1086 IH , I know my tractor weighs about 12500, but I never pulled nothing like that before. I told him I want to break it in not break it down. I'll post results Sat. evening.

Johnathan,be sure and run a straight pipe on the 1950 so you can get it broke in right.(smile)Got the water pump rebuilt on my 1950 today.It cost $59.95.The impeller had broken into (6) pieces and took the bearing and seal out.I pull a 21ft Krause disk,14ft IH pull type chisel,and a 24ft IH field cultivator with my 1950.It will handle each one in high side of 4th gear which isnt bad for a 105 horse tractor.
