Im a big Oliver nut and personally think that the Oliver tractors were some of the best ever built.Now to the question,what is the highest hours you have seen on a Oliver tractor.No lies or stories please(otherwords no JOHN DEERE stories)WE had a 1850 that was over 8ooo hours without a rebuild when we traded it off.Also if you comment on the older olivers i;e 88etc.remember that the hour meter does not work at idle so the hours are under what they should be.

We have an 88 wheatland diesel that has 9500+ hours on it and it turns up 55+ hp on the dyno.

I'v seen an 1850 with 7900 hrs on it. And an 1950-T mfwd with aboute 7500 on it. Mine don't have that many but Dads 1950-T must have more than 8,000 the meter currently says 5700 somthing but it hasen't worked since the early 80's And it gets twice the houres now as it did through the 70's we have an 2-135 with 7600 hrs on it the first 7300 of them were trouble free. My 770 I think has about 4000 on it my 77 diesel has 3800 original hrs on it.

I had an Oliver 77 gas with a front loader on it that I sold a year ago that has 9000 something on the hour meter. The tractor was a little loose but going strong and would provide service for years without any major work.
