I was just looking at the new White planters Agco's website. When browsing, it looks like Agco trashed the White and the Agco Allis tractor lines and replaced them with a Agco Tractor line. This don't bother me much because there hasn't been a true distinctive White tractor since 1992. They had a Agco tractor history page. This page has a time line of inovations from the past 100 years. I think this page is misleading. Majority of the pictures are AC, but they do have one Hart-Parr. They give no credit to any of the companies that had "Industry Firsts". I think a person that knows nothing about Agco's history and is looking at this page would think: AC built the first factory just to build tractors, AC was the first to have a 6 speed transmission, and AC was the first tractor tested at Nebraska to have "Live" PTO. Maybe I am just overreacting, but I think that Agco should give credit to the Companies like Hart-Parr, Oliver and MM that had these firsts in the tractor industry. I would like to hear your comments.
