Can someone tell me what the little iron pedal at the bottom center of the consol is for on an Oliver 1750 gas? Stumped?

If memory serves me, you can also "unscrew" the steering wheel hub (with your hand) and the wheel telescopes. That, combined with flipping the wheel up, makes it easy to stand up for awhile on those all-day tillage jobs.

Its the tilt steering. Nice feature that Oliver came out with.

Yes , it is tilt feature. My brother had an Oliver 1650. When stepping on the tilt button , nothing happened. Must have been set up. Maybe yours is to.

My 1850 has the same thing and like the earlier post said, it is for the steering wheel tilt feature.

if it's like my 1655 it is the release for the tilt steering column.
