I'm having trouble with my 880 wearing out release bearings for t
he PTO. They are the two piece greasable brass type. Does anyone know of a retrofit bearing assembly or even a tip to make these last?

Roland, I have had quite a number of Olivers with the same style pto as on your 880 and never had excessive wear. So, what is your problem, did you wear out the two piece brass engagement ring? Check the fork to see if it is square. The one on my 660, that I just purchased, was broken and welded slightly crooked. There is a potential problem. Is it proper lubrication? My manual directs you to give it a shot grease every day you use it, but being careful not to over lubricate. Check it out and post what you find out. Good Luck
