I bought a set of used side curtains for a 60 RC last year (yep, finally getting around to it). While attempting to latch the front panels, I found the frame would not accept them. The frame is too thick compared to the clearance depth of the latches. The panels fit perfectly otherwise. If others exist, how many designs are there for 60 Row Crop front side curtains, what are the design change dates, is a modified latch available, etc., or are these for something ealse? Thanks in advance for the help.

The curtains you have are for a standard 60. Row crop 60 has a thicker frame because of the cultivators , most of them still cracked with the four row cultivator.

I have the same problem and here is what I discovered with some research at a couple of shows. The 70 panel will fit just fine but won't latch properly. The 70 panel is just a shade taller (I don't remember exact amount) and the latches won't "reach" as far. I decided that my 60 has 70 panels. The paint (or lack of) on the panels did not match the rest of tractor when I bought it so who knows where they came from. With a pair of pliers you can get them to turn and hold in place with some practice and experimenting. Or you can spend lots of money and buy reproduction panels that fit like they should. If I had the money to spend that is what I would do, but I don't. Anybody else....

I've looked at a 70 I own & they aren't the same. I just took some rod & made new latches to fit. Its all it was in the first place. Thanks just the same.
