i have an oc-4 which looks like it has had an engine retrofit but i can't id the motor due to lack of casting numbers etc. it has a strange arrangement of cooling plumbing on the left with inlet at the top amongst the manifolds and a dual outlet along the bottom endge of the block that then merges to a single outflow line. could this be a waukesha from something like a 77 (770?). if anyone has pictures of small waukesha engines i would appreciate their sharing them with me to help me id the motor. i can also e-mail pics of the engine if that would be helpful.
thanks. by the way, the radiator is stamped "perflex". is this a clue to the engine? it looks like they came as a unit assebly.

Its not from any of the tractors.It sounds like an older herchules or waukeshaw.The old waucheshaw had lots of numbers on them and CWC on the head and block.

thanks larry. i thought all hercules motors were l-heads and this is an ohv. the only number i could find embossed on the block is T108 and the water intake manifold has T2107. obviously the "T" provides some clue as to the manufacturer and that is what i'm trying to find out. i described the motor to some folks at the oliver parts place and they didn't think it was a waukeshaw by the way i described it. looking at the motor now, i think it probably came from a stationary engine since the throttle lever is located on a bracket at the front of the block and it doesn't look like a homemade job either. maybe a continental motor or were those all l-heads too? again, any help is greatly appreciated.
