Oliver 88 engine swap

Does anyone know if an Oliver 1650 engine will fit in the 88? What about a rebuild kit for the 1650 engine, where can I find a complete kit? Or can I? Would much appreciate any info.

Rich, I dont know about the 1650 engine swap (anything is possible with enough time and money) but I do know of an 88 with an 1800 engine. Looks good and only had one bolt head ground off for clearance for the steering shaft. It is for sale and needs some TLC but I've seen it run. I dont own it but can get you in touch with the owner if you may be interested (1500? may be cheaper than overhauling yours). Location is west central IL Good luck Jim
