Oliver DDH Crawler

Does anyone know anything about a DDH? I can not find any reference to one on any oliver site. It's big, just a little smaller than an old cat. D5 It has an Oliver corp. plate on the engine side of the firewall and says model DDH. It was fitted with a Hiel hyd. dozer blade

I have a Oliver DDH Dozer not going too well , very hard to start.
Live in Australia in the state of Victoria.

Maybe someone can tell me what the problem is

My book shows a DD, produced from 1936-1958, Hercules 4 cyl @ 61.2 dhp (67.7 bhp) or later a 6 cyl @ 61dhp, 4.375 X 5.25 bore and stroke. It states that the DG was the gas version of the DD. Weighs around 13,700.

Does it show what year the split is? I think this one was a 4 cyl.

All Cletrac and (after 1945) Oliver Cletrac DD and DG models had 6 cylinder engines. The DG was a gasoline engine, the DD was a diesel. They were both Hercules engines. The Oliver Cletrac DD had a Hercules DRXB 6 cylinder diesel engine, bore 4 3/8" x stroke 5 1/4", 474 CID, 1200 rpm; As an agricultural tractor it was rated to pull six to seven-14" bottoms; the travel speeds were 1.7, 2.3, 3.06, 4.88 mph forward and 2.02 and 3.64 mph reverse. I do not have the physical dimensions handy; The "H" suffix might indicate high-clearance, not sure about this. Try www.cletrac.org for more information

Zeus , It's been a while since I had read up on Cletrac crawlers. If I remember right , the "H" stood for hillside. The tracks were much wider spread apart than average. I would have to refresh myself on the subject to be positive. But , I feel shure enough to stick my neck out. Yes your right about (D)- Diesel , (G)- Gas
