What is the horsepower on an oliver 66. I'm looking at buying one and restoring it.

Also wondering how fast the tractor will go in 6th gear. It may have to do a lot of travel without a trailer.

According to the official Oliver Corp Service Manual, the Oliver "66" has following horsepower values:

ROW CROP HC rated belt hp 22.14 max belt hp 26.05 rated drawbar hp 16.73 max drawbar 22.30
STANDARD HC belt hp 22.28 & 26.21 drawbar hp 16.96 & 22.61
(These figures for gasoline engine; if you need for diesel, post me here)

Travel speeds will depend on tire size and type of transmission used:
10-38 tires, C-66 trans 13.12 mph
10-38 tires, C66C, C3 trans 11.78 mph
10-38 tires, C66F, C6 trans 9.83 mph

These figures for the Row Crop; figures are a little reduced for Standards
