Why dont i have oil pressure? The engine was rebuilt 70 hours ago, allways had good pressure, removed oil pump summerged in a pail of oil turned with drill,nothing,primed pump turned with drill pumped like crazy,installed started engine no oil primed, no oil pressure,removed oil filter,started no oil.What can the problem be,please help me!

Does it have a relief valve on the side of the block like the bigger Hercules manbe it is stuck open. I have a friend that is looking at a running OC4 with a blade, anybody heard any prices?

I looked in the manuel i have but it only covers the 4 cylinder models.I would think the pump needs to be disasembled.Maybe the gears are slipping or chewed up.The book does not mention primeing.

Check the service manual. It may that the pump needs to be primed when installed in the engine. I use Vasoline for this. Oil won't work. If that's not it, then it's something more serious, post back and let us know.
