I've got a 1947 wide front Cockshutt 30. Can you put a front end loader on them?

I have a lull loader on my 30,works well but is very hard steering with the bucket full

Al, would you mind giving me the scoop (pardon the pun) on that loader....model etc, so I can track one down? If you can, and don't mind, I'd love to see a picture of it, also. How do you like your 30? I've only had mine running since Friday, and I think it's pretty slick. Thanks, Tom

hi Tom
no chance on model #,loader looks like its been on since day one,oldtimmer told me it was a lull(there is a picture of a simular loader on a ac one this site under photos,search for lull)
I've had her 9 yrs,been a solid machine.Been used like a bulldozer while i built my place.It's leaveled over600 tandem loads of ruff fill'and i am almost finished digging topsoil out of the field behind the house.It's earned its keep.

Dad had a Farmhand F 10 loader on his Cockshutt 30 with narrow front. Had a hay basket on it and he used it for stacking alfalfa. Worked very well. Sold the loader at a farm sale and the tractor to a fellow who wanted to restore it. It was a 1948 model.

i had a loader on my 30. i think it was an allied or robin. it came off of a fordson, a 9n i think. i made the mount my self and it worked well. a little hard to steer. if you want to know more drop me a line.

I bought a " New Idea " loader to put on my 30 . It is too wide to fit between the back wheels properly , but I will modify the rims / hub s on the wheels . It came with a Char-Lynn pump , but I need the drive shaft coupling and the mounting bracket . Can anyone help ?
