I have stripped out the splines on the steering yoke again. Has anyone put a different axle under these tractors? I am looking for any advice at I Can Find.I really like this machine, it does all I need. What about an axle out of a late model something with slave cylinder type steering. Could it just be plumbed into the steering motor?
Or should I just forget all this replace the yoke and put some new stops on the spindles?

On one high hour problem front end i added a steering cylinder from a massy 510 combine. I cut the brakets off the combine too and welded everything onto the oliver and hooked up the hoses. It works great wish i had done it 10 years earlyer.
