I got your note via email and I can read it, however I can't open it or reply back (my computer says I need a Pan European Text Display Support - whatever that is). And, your address doesn't show. Anyways, thanks for your reply, however here's a question. Is the number you sent me the actual Cockshutt part number (from their parts book) or is it the actual number that is cast into the iron casting itself? Why I'm asking is that it looks very familiar to numbers that Cockshutt used in their dealer parts book. I'm trying to ID a brake assembly I've got here and somehow I thought it might be from a model 35 (these came in a box with my model 30 and they don't fit but I did eventually find a set later). These parts have a ton of casting numbers on them and I thought they might match up to a model 35 casting. They're definitely not from a model 40/50 nor from a 30. Could be that they are even from some other make of tractor (but they were painted red and I'd say it's factory paint). If you could respond to this post with your email address (if you don't mind doing that), then I'll get hold of you that way. Otherwise, you can email me as you did before but I can't write back. Thanks, MIKE.

The number I gave you was on the casing. The part that I identified is a lever mechanism which actuated the brakes. As you stated in your previous note, there is a machined shaft attached to the center of the casting which activates the internal brakes. Hope this helps.
