Cockshutt 1310 PTO

Anyone know why we can't shut our PTO off on our Cockshutt and run the bucket at the sametime? We have a lever to shut off the PTO but when you do you can't use the bucket. It sounds complicated... and it is! Any ideas would be very helpful.

ur hydrolic pump is powed by ur power take off even though you cant see it. so you have to have ur power take off spinning to turn the hydrolice pump..

Lazyhorse, we do have a pto hydraulic pump running the loader. Why do you ask?
