Oliver 60T baler knotter problem

I'm having problem with my knotter. It will knot 5 bales OK the it cuts the twine after the knot. I've turned the thing by hand and tied 20 bales OK.Could it be my PTO speed?? I'm at the end of my twine!!! Any help will be appreciated

As to PTO speed- most of the older balers work at around 60 strokes per minute- just "watch your watch" for 15 seconds, and adjust engine speed for 15 strokes during that time period.

Are both sides missing the tie or just one? Is it making the knot and then breaking or not tying at all? What do the ends of the twine look like? Please give some more details, thanks,WB.

The cut on the twine is after the knot is made. The twine looks to be cut clean.

Are you using 9000 bale twine? if so, try using 7200, it's thicker and it might help.
