i hope some one can help me with some questions im getting ready to trade for a oliver 88 deisel all of my antique garden tractor collection for it. it has a live pto. which i would like some how to do away with. are the oliver deisels rare. this is a super deisel it runs just fine six cylinder oliver deisel engine. are parts . hard to find for them . is the implements easy to get for them like a plow and disc. is oliver engines easy to maintain and work i do not know if it has the side panels or not how can you tell what year they were manufactured. any help would be apreciated. this is my first real own farm tractor .

Its not rare.The live pto is the best feature of these tractors.Find the serial number(on a tag under dash) and look at the left of this page under serial numbers and look up the year made.With no 3 point hitch you left with useing drag implements.They can still be found if you look for them.
