Help! Need info on Oliver Cletrac.

A friend of mine recently acquired an Oliver Cletrac tractor, Model HG:42 S/N 22GA256. Checking the serial numbers at YT's website the closest match I could find was between 1946 (19 GA 994) and 1947 (25 GA 994). I am guessing that the model, HG:42 indicates the year of manufacture.? It a four cylinder, gas engine with S/N 1275757. If anyone can give me any additional information about this tractor I would really appreciate it.

The tractor itself is a bit rusty but in very good condition considering its age. The engine was locked up due to the exhaust valve being opened and water entering one of the cylinders. We are very excited about restoring this fine old machine and hearing its engine come to life once again!

JD,

The year of your crawler is 1946 and the 42 is the inches from center to center of the tracks. I have an HG-68 which means 68" from the center of one track to the center of the other track.
