Oliver Superior Spreader

I reasently picked up a Oliver Superior spreader. Thanks Bruce, the price was right. I am not shure of the model number. I beleive it may be a model 7, It's two wheel ground driven on 6.00x16 rubber with a steel box. The name plate say's Oliver Superior s/n 115740 Springfield Ohio. I think the original colors were orange and green. I am missing a chain tensioner for the right side and angle iron with teeth for the center beater. If anyone has any information on this spreader or the whereabouts of another for parts It would be appreciated.

Parts manual?
orange Color code?
6.00x16 tires tractor tread, source?
used parts?

The paint is not orange..it's probably just a bit rusty. The wheels should be the same red as the tractors use. I have found a tire about that size with tractor tread, but I don't know where to find them, you'll have to do some checking with tire shops.

Jack, I saw a oliver spreader near where I live last week and have stopped by to see who owns it etc and have not found anyone home..Not sure if its for sale. I collect old farm implements and wonder what the value would be. The word Oliver is still on the side and I believe the Oliver is orange and the rest is green but cant remember so I will look at it again and take some photos. I think its a working spreader. My neighbor told me about it last week. I am interested in buying it if its for sale but have no idea as to values.
Any info you might give me would be appeciated.

I bought the oliver superior spreader for $200. today. The previous owner had put a trailer hitch on the end so I could pull it home. Man did it sway back and forth!!!!
This one has wood sides and bottom. The wood looks more blue than anything else and the metal parts on the rear were painted green. It has some rust but you can see the green and then the wheels were red at one time. Sure wish someone had a photo of a spreader like this so I could see the colors on it. It actually works and was used a couple of weeks ago to spread manure. The man I bought it from has several mules and he does a lot of his farm work with the mules...
Dont know if the price is fair but in the condition its in I think so.. If anyone can share a photo or tell me what the colors should be, I would appreciate it. It does have a serial number on the front but due to the fact I couldnt find my glasses I couldnt tell what the number is. How would I be able to tell the yr model with a serial number? Painted on the side is OLIVER SUPERIOR and it looks like a pale yellow?
